Favorite Disney memory?

 One of my favorite Disney memories is when my kids met Mickey Mouse for the first time. My oldest, who is autistic and nonverbal, surprised everyone by walking right up to Mickey and saying “mouse” for the very first time. It was an incredibly touching moment for us. My youngest son’s first meeting was equally magical—his face lit up with pure joy as he saw Mickey and Minnie. These experiences are cherished core memories for my wife and me. 

What should guests remember when visiting the Disney theme parks?  

To truly experience the magic of Disney, remember to slow down and enjoy yourself. The enchantment is all around you, and the most memorable moments often come from taking the time to look around and savor each detail. Your trip will be as magical as you make it, so embrace the adventure, relax, and let the magic unfold. 

What is your favorite Disney Cruise Line destination?

One of my favorite destinations is Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, in the Bahamas. This stop is the highlight of every cruise. The water is an astonishing shade of blue, and the lush landscape offers a perfect mix of natural beauty and shaded spots. With plenty of chairs and loungers available, Castaway Cay is ideal for a truly relaxing beach day.

You can rent a bike, take on a 5k run, snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, or simply lounge on the pristine beach. For families, there's a dedicated kids' club, and for those seeking tranquility, there's an adults-only area. Whether you’re looking to unwind or enjoy some fun activities, Castaway Cay is the perfect place to embrace island time and soak up the serenity. 

What is your favorite travel experience? 

One of my favorite travel experiences is cruising with my family. We’ve had the pleasure of sailing with Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity, and we’re excited to explore even more options in the future. Cruising offers the perfect way for our family to travel and experience new destinations, especially with a special needs child.

Many cruise lines have excellent procedures in place to ensure accessibility and comfort for passengers of varying abilities, allowing us the freedom to seek adventure and enjoy the world around us. Our favorite ports so far have been Mexico, Roatan, and Belize, each offering unique and memorable experiences.
